Our Story
CountryWideBB was created to bring something simple—but rare—to Australian internet: reliability, honesty, and support from someone who understands both the technology and the everyday frustrations customers face. I’m Terry, the founder of CountryWideBB. I hold a Master’s degree in IT specialising in Network Computing and have over 30 years of experience across systems, networking, and technical operations and support.
Despite that background, I still found myself struggling as an ordinary customer. Long wait times, repetitive scripted responses like “restart your router,” support teams unfamiliar with real‑world setups, and the challenge of navigating between different parts of the national network made it difficult to get clear answers or real ownership when something went wrong. If it was that hard for someone with my experience, it was clear the system wasn’t built with everyday Australians in mind.
That realisation is what led me to start CountryWideBB.
How We Support You
While no ISP can control every part of the national network, what we can control is how we support you. That means clear communication, fast help, and genuine technical assistance. Where possible, we help you look inside your own network to identify issues and reduce the chance of tickets being closed with a “No fault found.”
You’re welcome to bring your own router, and we’ll support you as best we can. For those who prefer a more hands‑off experience, we also offer managed hardware that we can configure and support directly.
